69th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at CEC campus.Secretary of the college Mr.Nalin Lunia hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering. He highlighted the importance of republic day celebration. Principal of the college Dr.J.Shivakumar also addressed the gathering and stressed the need of celebrating the national festivals like republic day which helps one to acquire sense of belongingness to country.Large number of students,faculty/staff attended the programme.Programme ended with distribution of sweets.

These program criteria apply to engineering technology programs with an emphasis on mechanical components and systems, that include drafting/design or similar modifiers in their titles. that include engineering graphics, design or drafting or similar modifiers in their titles and have an emphasis on mechanical components and systems. An accreditable program in engineering graphics or design or drafting engineering technology will prepare graduates with knowledge, hands-on skills and problem-solving ability to enter careers related to preparation of engineering drawings and basic design of mechanical components and systems. Level and scope of career preparation will depend on the degree level and specific program orientation as portrayed by its program educational objectives.
During Nukkad Nataks the student actors displayed that voters should not come under any pressure threat or any other enticement. Casting aside self interests, voters should come forward to make the country strong by electing the best leaders irrespective of the political parties, castes, creeds and the race. The objective here was to usher in better understanding about proper voting and its perfect outcomes. The rally displayed slogans like “Vote Matters a LOT; Go for Vote; Socho Samjho Fir Vote Karo; Aapka Vote, Aapka Adhikaar; Aapkaa Vote, Aapki Taakat; Vote for a better India and many such more.
Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program, better known as SVEEP, is the flagship program of the Election Commission of India for voter education, spreading voter awareness and promoting voter literacy in India. SVEEP’s primary goal is to build a truly participative democracy in India by encouraging all eligible citizens to vote and make an informed decision during the elections. The programme is based on multiple general as well as targeted interventions which are designed according to the socio-economic, cultural and demographic profile of the state as well as the history of electoral participation in previous rounds of elections and learning thereof.

Three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) is organised in CEC campus from 24th to 26th July 2017. EAC is organised under the sponsorship of Dept. of Science & Technology (DST),Govt. of India and Chhattisgarh Industrial and Technical Consultancy Centre (CITCON) Raipur. The main objective of the EAC is to make students awre about Entrepreneurship, so that they may opt self employment as their career after completion of their studies.
The winning students from inter college zone-1 competition have also participated in the zonal level (zone I,II,III,IV)sports & cultural competition that was hosted by the colleges affiliated to CSVTU which commenced on 14th February and 25th February 2017 . Final winning result are awaited.Many students enthusiastically participated in different events but missed the winner’s podium by a whisker. Their efforts were lauded by the relevant judges and they too resolved to earn laurels for CEC in the fests that will be held in the years to come .The Management, Principal, Faculty and Staff of CEC have extended their heartiest congratulations to the winners and expressed that winning spirit will continue in the future as well.
